Eternal Reward

We are writing to let you know that our Papa, Rev. Jess A. Gutierrez, has just been promoted to Glory. We are sure he has already exchanged that mortal body for the new one he asked for this past Christmas. Our family has never walked this road of illness before and every step was truly overwhelming. But through it all we embraced every moment and we embraced each other. We have great confidence in Jesus, our strength. However, in our humanity we feel the heartache as we traveled the journey together. To God be the glory, our shield, buckler, and comforter.

In the mist of bitterness, the sweetness of Jesus made his precious appearance. In an old fashion prayer meeting last night Farrah received the Holy Ghost. The joy was on Papa's face when he was told. With his frailness, and everything in him he said "BEAUTIFUL" "Victory is mine"~ The peace of God rested like a blanket over all of us.

“And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and mind through Christ Jesus. “ Phillippians 4:7
